Snowball

In our yard the lilacs, rhodos, and the snowball tree are all in bloom. I love it like this. So much color. So many flowers. I have been taking cuttings from all of them to bring in the house to enjoy.

The other day Evan said, "Did you cut these off the ice cream tree?" I loved that. The ice cream tree. IT really does like huge scoops of vanilla ice cream. I love the way kids look at things. I don't think I'll ever look at that tree in the same way an I have a feeling, "The Ice Cream Tree," is the NEW name.
