Ah, the house is silent, the boys are outside playing. Then the door flies open,
"MOM! PIERCE IS BLEEDING! HE FELL IN THE BLACKBERRIES! YOU GOTTA COME FAST."
Naturally, I FLY out out of the house envisioning worse case scenario...then there's Pierce, standing in the driveway with Evan and Pierce has a DOT of blood on his fingertip. My heart is racing, the adrenaline has kicked in for THIS!? THIS is bleeding? So we wash it off, but a bandage on for show, and all is well.
Then I tell Evan, "The next time you yell like that and tell me someone is BLEEDING, I want to see it dripping to the ground." Don't scare me kid!
