It had been some time since we visited Seattle/family and we were all looking forward to it.
We spent Sunday at Cathy's house for a great brunch and then some of us played croquet in her backyard before heading home.
On the way, I asked if we could make a small stop at the LILAC GARDENS. We always see the sign from the highway, but either we don't have the time for it, or it's not the right time of year. We stopped and as luck would have it, they closed an hour before we got there. It's a beautiful home. Looks like they open up their yard for $2 a person a few hours a day during the Lilac season. We enjoyed walking along the fence and taking pictures of their property. It would have been nice to actually walk the grounds, but then again it was nice to be on the outside looking in with no people in my photos! Mark also found a Monkey Puzzle tree. They sure are ugly!
