Autumn Fun

Heather and Pierce invited us to join them for a chili feed/kids carnival/hayride/hoe-down event at a church members home. Needless to say the property was pretty spectacular and we found ourselves saying, "Wow," probably one too many times. That yellow tree was the focal of a beautiful landscape and views over our wonderful city.

There was all kinds of stuff for the boys to do. Face painting, pumpkin toss, pumpkin painting, dart toss...

But what they really wanted to do was run down the hill over and over again!

Heather and I loved the hayride since it gave us a good look at the property, house, pool, and the views!

And after we'd all rode the hayride, the boys were hooked. "We're going to go on the hayride," they said. "See ya," we replied as we headed off to the barn for chili (without children!) They felt like big shots as they rode away without us. When they were done, they found us. The beauty of being five.
