The handicapped spot

Once in awhile you see something that makes your heart smile and today I did.

Coming out of the grocery store, on a Sunday afternoon were an older couple, likely married. He walked with a limp, perhaps something he's dealt with his entire life and I could tell he was headed for the handicapped spot where his car was parked. But then he walked past the car and around to open the door of his wife, before he made his way back around the his own side. Even with his not so perfect leg, this man, no doubt has made it a priority to do the little extras for the lady in his life. It made me smile for sure.
