One last request

Here's my guy on the way to Aunt Diane and Uncle Bill's yesterday for Thanksgiving. What a difference a day and the right medicine makes! He's feeling better and it shows. Still sick, but on the mend.

The camera was in my purse all day and you would have thought it would have occurred to me to take some pictures of everyone, but I forgot. It was great to see everyone. I especially like to see Bill's side of the family which only happens at Thanksgiving.

Before we left Diane and Bill's, Evan asked if they had a snack he could take in the car. Imagine his delight when they handed him a box of CHEESE-ITS. If you know my kid, then you know CHEESE ITS should be his middle name!

We knew Evan would fall asleep in the car, and as he was getting cozy, he had one last request..."Mom, could you please be sure nobody takes my CHEESE - ITS?" No Evan, nobody will take your CHEESE-ITS. I think he felt a real sense of pride about having his own box.

He's sleeping but still holding on just to make sure! His hand never left the box the entire 120 miles!

The first words out of his mouth this morning as he climbed in bed with me, "Did nobody eat my CHEESE-ITS?"

Only this one time can you have CHEESE-ITS for breakfast. It is the day after Thanksgiving after all.

That is excellent! How important he must have felt having his very own big box!
