Because today was another awesome day, I wanted to be OUT in it having fun. I rallied the troops and helped Mark load the car and we headed downtown to ride our bikes along the waterfront.
The Esplanade was packed with walkers, in-line skaters, bikers, and a great place to people watch. We parked at OMSI, checked out the dock where kayakers get in the water, and rode all around Portland. We went to the train station, to the Pearl District, played in a park, and watched the boats in the marina. We rode over two bridges and since Evan was attached to my bike, I got to hear the non-stop commentary of every amazing thing he saw. With so much to see and take in downtown, Evan never stopped talking! What a great day for us.
