Over Memorial Day weekend, we ventured down to Newburg for the hydroplance races. These boats were amazing to watch, and it was watching them turn corners that made me laugh in amazement every single time. They never lost momentum, never got caught in the waves, it was just as if this little boat could escape all of the things that would normally slow down a vehicle making sharp turns. The announcer said that even a motorcycle can turn the way these boats can. So cool.
