Parenting

Evan will negotiate anything. That's going to pay off for him 'big time' someday, but for now, it's a lot like talking back.

Yesterday in the car, I found myself turning around (Mark was driving) to remind Evan that he is the child and we are the parents and that we make the decisions, not him.

There was a long pause...and then, "I don't like it like that." Mark and I both had to hold in our laughter.
