It wasn't planned that we'd meet up with Springwater friends at the Easter Egg hunt, but it really is no surprise. Great minds think alike! Evan, Kate, Sophie and Dylan...friends since Kindergarten. I love that they are building a history together. Across the field were other friends that found us later.
I remember Evan's first egg hunt where he stopped at the first foil wrapped candy he found, opened it, ate it, and missed getting all the other treats strewn across the lawn. Those days are long gone. He was pleased with his basket full of goodies.
After still another hunt at the college (which Evan said was the better of the two due to to the candy) it was off to Evan's basketball game.
Coach Mark has been Evan's basketball coach for the past 2 years. Here they were after the game finding out who one the awards for: Best Hustle, Team Spirit, and Skills. Evan was recognized in all areas during the season. If there was a most improved player, it would have been Evan.
