One of Evan's favorite places to be is out in the creek behind our house. Hard tellin' who he was playing with on this day, but when he came to the back door and asked for a towel to dry his feet off, I couldn't resist taking this picture.

We sent out evites for lots of play dates with Evan's classmates over break. Two weeks can be a lot of time to fill if you don't have a plan. Here are some of Evan's friends and their siblings at Chapin Park.

At Chapin Park they discovered this tree that they quickly named the tree house. They were at this tree for more than an hour!

I invited some boys in for play date. Ah, this is half of what it feels like to be Kate plus 8. 4 six year old was enough for me. They really entertained themselves which allowed me to get my taxes done! No kidding! Pierce and Ben could pass for brothers. Evan makes a silly face and Dylan too.

The reptile came to the library with all of this reptile zoo. The show started at 1:00 but there was a full house by 12:30 which tells you that we've done this drill before. He packs a huge crowd and I would guess there was 300 people crammed into this small area of the library.

This is an Albino something-er-other. Great shot though!

Evan reaches out to touch it. The kids got to smell it too. Smells like popcorn so I have heard!

This baby alligator is almost as old as Evan. EVERY child wanted to wait in line to have a touch.
